The ENIM technology hall (The workshops) 

Since 2010, ENIM has benefited from a brand-new building combining aesthetic qualities and exemplary functionalities offering a 3000 m² technological hall allowing students to discover the reality of the field. In total, 7,600 m² of surface area is devoted to the workshop, grouping together classrooms, laboratories and all the cutting-edge technologies enabling the knowledge of future engineers to be put into practice. 

It is a real small-scale factory made available to students.

The Bar-Cafeteria of the ENIM

The bar-cafeteria is located on the ground floor of Building A of the School. It is called the IV by the Enimian community because it was located on the 4th floor in the former ENIM building on the Saulcy island in Metz. The members of the Student’s Bureau welcome you there from Monday to Friday from 7.45 am (breakfast with pastries) to 3 pm.

From 11.45 am to 1.30 pm, students have the possibility to have a snack: salads, sandwiches, pizzas, ..

This space also allows students to get together after class to relax and share a moment of conviviality all together. Armchairs, billiards, coffee machines are at their disposal.

The Engineer University Library

There are 27 libraries throughout the Lorraine region, whose mission is to provide students, teachers, researchers and university staff with the documentation (paper or electronic) they need to study, learn, work and research. 

Their role is also to help members of the university to find publications by promoting them and by training users in documentary research tools. Libraries are accessible to all. 

Within the University of Lorraine, the 27 libraries are administered by the Documentation and Publishing Department. 

The ENIM BU (https://bu.univ-lorraine.fr/bibliotheques/ingenieurs-enim) has works in the scientific and technical field (engineering, engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering, etc...), language methods, journals and novels in English. It also has a leisure fund. 

ENIM's outreach, attractiveness and associative life department 

This service, which deploys many tools for ENIM's notoriety, is the place where students can come and ask any practical or personal questions. The service works in collaboration with the Students Bureau to provide students with the support they may need within the School. 

Associative life and student outreach services 

• To create a link with the school’s associations by providing them with logistical support and advice in their projects
• Manage requests for occupation of premises by students: documents to be completed by ENIM and the University of Lorraine, inform students of the acceptance or not of these requests
• Managing absence receipts for association activities 
• Retrieval of administrative documents of each ENIM student association (filing (PV) in court, statutes, provisional budget for the year, minutes of the general assembly, etc.).
• Management of associative grant applications
• Managing student travel authorizations 

Pedagogical tutoring (support) and methodological and coaching tutoring

• Posting student job advertisements on the ENIM website and towards the University of Lorrain
• Receiving applications and organizing the recruitment committee 
• Manage administrative hiring files
• Schedule and track support hours for payment 
• Make a call for tutoring support by teachers or personnel
• Manage groups and schedule sessions in schedules
• Organize meetings with all the tutors and assess the action
